The 18th Annual Meeting of the Environment for Development (EfD) Network, held from October 3 to 6, 2024, at the Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi, highlighted the urgent global need for collaborative, policy-driven research to address environmental challenges, particularly within the Global South.

The three-day event, running from October 16th to 18th, 2024, at UoN Towers, Fourth Floor, Room MLT04, brings together leading scholars, historians, and experts from around the world to explore the Mau Mau's legacy, its struggles, and its profound impact on Kenya's postcolonial state.

Yesterday 8th, 2024, The Centre for Human Rights and Peace (CHRP) based at Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, launched a significant report titled “Transforming Refugee Policy in Kenya: From Encampment to Socio-Economic Integration.” The event took place at Taifa Hall and was graced by Vice Chancellor Prof. Margaret Hutchison.
