The University of Nairobi (UoN) on Friday, September 19, 2025, conferred 3,836 degrees and diplomas during its 73rd Graduation Ceremony held at the Chancellor’s Court under the theme “Empowering Futures for an Innovative and Technologically Driven World.” Among them, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) proudly graduated 427 students: 23 Diplomas, 290 Bachelors, 6 Postgraduate Diplomas, 95 Masters, and 13 PhDs.

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) today, Wednesday, August 20, 2025, held its orientation for first-year students at Taifa Hall from 9:30 a.m. The event was marked by warmth, encouragement, and valuable guidance as the new students were officially welcomed into the faculty community.

The African Centre for the Study of the United States (ACSUS), under the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, hosted a high-level panel discussion on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the University of Nairobi Towers (10th Floor), to commemorate 60 years of U.S.–Kenya partnership in education and cultural exchange.
