On Wednesday, 28th May 2025, the Department of Diplomacy and International Studies (DDIS) at the University of Nairobi hosted a hybrid panel discussion to celebrate 60 years of U.S.–Kenya Diaspora Relations. The event, themed “Bridging Nations, Enhancing Mutual Growth and Development,” was held on the 4th floor of the UoN Towers and was organized by the Africa Center for the Study of the U.S. (ACSUS).

The ceremony of the Chinese Culture Tour in Africa and the Xiamen Tour Photo Exhibition was officially opened at the University of Nairobi at the Confucius Institute. The event marked a significant moment in deepening cultural exchange and diplomatic relations between China and Kenya.

Earlier today, on May 9, 2025, the University of Nairobi hosted its annual Students' Recognition Ceremony at the historic Taifa Hall, honoring the outstanding achievements of 721 students from across its ten faculties. The vibrant and inspiring event reaffirmed the university’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, innovation, leadership, and the nurturing of diverse talents.
