The 2025 University of Nairobi Students’ Association (UNSA) elections were once again a major highlight in the university calendar, reflecting the vibrant democratic spirit of the student community. Held on 25th April 2025, at Taifa Hall, students from all faculties participated through the university's innovative E-ballot system.
On March 29th, the University of Nairobi marked a significant milestone by hosting the 51st inaugural lecture of Prof. Peter Anyanga O. Wasamba, at Taifa Hall, who was recently elevated to full professorship. In this lecture, he shared his groundbreaking research on We Are Not Mentally Ill: Deconstructing the ‘Mad Genius’ Trope in Literature, exploring literature's role in shaping societal values, beliefs, and intellectual discourse.
On 14th March 2025, the Department of Diplomacy and International Studies, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Regional Office (Kenya and Somalia missions), successfully hosted a high-level panel discussion at MLT 402, University Towers.
