On November 6th, 2024, the Department of Diplomacy and Development Studies within the faculty hosted Her Excellency Gloria De La Fuente, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile, for a public lecture on "Chile’s Feminist Foreign Policy" at the University of Nairobi Towers, MLT 405.
The 8th Edition of the Annual University of Nairobi Research Week, themed “Harnessing Research for Resilience and Sustainability of Communities,” commenced on October 28, 2024, and concluded on November 1, 2024. The event featured over 20 conferences across ten faculties, drawing together leading researchers, industry experts, academics, staff, and students.
The 18th Annual Meeting of the Environment for Development (EfD) Network, held from October 3 to 6, 2024, at the Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi, highlighted the urgent global need for collaborative, policy-driven research to address environmental challenges, particularly within the Global South.
