On June 14, 2023, the University of Nairobi Department of Linguistics and Languages requested the support of the League of Arab States in strengthening its capacity to teach the Arabic language.
The University of Nairobi will host Prof.Claudia Loebbecke,Department of Media and Technology Management,University of Cologne,Germany who will be a keynote speaker on the Artifiacial Intelligence'Transforming Society and Academia'.
Today, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Staff planted trees at the Department of Diplomacy and International Studies Hostel grounds.
In his speech during the event, the Dean Prof. Jack Odhiambo said the exercise was quite important since it was as per the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign which was launched by H.E the President on 21 st December 2022 and deliberated during the Deans Committee Special meeting held on 27th April 2023.
