STAFF TREE PLANTING DAY HELD ON TUESDAY, JUNE 06, 2023

Today, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Staff planted trees at the Department of Diplomacy and International Studies Hostel grounds.

In his speech during the event, the Dean Prof. Jack Odhiambo said the exercise was quite important since it was as per the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign which was launched by H.E the President on 21 st December 2022 and deliberated during the Deans Committee Special meeting held on 27th April 2023.

UoN scooped 13 Awards at Kenya National Drama and Film Festival 2023

The University of Nairobi Travelling Theatre (UNTT) got the opportunity to participate in this year’s Kenya National Drama and Film Festival which was held in Mombasa county, Shimo La Tewa School and Shanzu Technical College. For the first time, UNTT partnered with Modern Artist University Of Nairobi (MAUN) Kikuyu campus to represent the school in the festival. This partnership proved to be successful artistically as both groups were able to integrate to achieve success for the school.
