Canada in Kenya High Commission Highlights Migration Dialogue at University of Nairobi

 The Canada High Commission in Kenya had a diplomatic and academic engagement at the University of Nairobi, bringing together senior dignitaries from Canada and Kenya to discuss bilateral cooperation with a strong emphasis on migration policies, education pathways, and people-to-people ties. The forum, held at the University’s main campus, reaffirmed the deep and evolving relationship between the two countries, particularly in the areas of human trafficking, migration mobility and Canada being a co-host of 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences Lead with Highest Graduands at UoN’s 74th Graduation

The University of Nairobi held its 74th Graduation Ceremony at the Chancellor’s Court under the theme “Empowering Futures for an Innovative and Technologically Driven World.” A total of 4,504 graduands were celebrated, including 48 PhDs, 905 Master’s Degrees, 3,416 Bachelor’s Degrees, 16 Postgraduate Diplomas, 14 Fellowships, and 98 Diplomas.

 The University of Nairobi (UoN), in partnership with the University of Northumbria in the United Kingdom and the British Council, officially opened the 2025 Learning and Design Lab Conference on Monday, marking a significant milestone in cross-continental collaboration aimed at strengthening innovation, creativity, and student opportunities.
