Dr.  Justine Ndongo-Kelller Appointed

The University of Nairobi appointed a top interpreter and translator, Dr. Justine Ndongo-Keller to the position of Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Translation and Interpretation, university of Nairobi. Her working languages are: French, English, Spanish, Krio and Pidgin English

 

Prior to this appointment Dr. Ndongo-Keller was the Chief of the Language Services Section at the Arusha-based United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (UN ICTR)

Before joining the UN, she he served at different times as:

  • Deputy Director in charge of Studies and Assistant Professor at the Advanced School of Translation/Interpretation, University of Buea, Cameroon
  • Head of the Interpretation Service  of the National Assembly of Cameroon
  • Senior Translator/Interpreter of the National Assembly of Cameroon
  • Senior Translator/Interpreter, Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon

 

Dr. Justine Ndongo-Keller holds:

  • Doctorat 3e de Cycle en science et techniques de la traduction et de l’interprétation  ( Doctorate degree in the Science and Techniques of Interpretation and Translation
  • Masters in Advanced Studies in the Teaching of Interpreting and Translation
  • Master of Arts (M.Phil) in English Language Teaching, Université Paul Valéry Montpellier, France. Postgraduate Diploma in Conference Interpretation Techniques, Polytechnic of Central London, University of Westminster
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) University of Yaounde, Cameroon.
  • Diplôme d’Études Spécialisées (Diploma in Specialized Translation Studies)
